What strong looks like

Has a number and can say where it came from. Has lost a deal and knows why in the customer's words. Has walked away from a deal. Runs a cycle they can describe stage by stage without a slide. Builds champions and knows when one has gone quiet. For commercial roles, the outcome is the story; reaching the number is not chasing a metric.

Core must-haves

  • Closed enterprise or mid-market deals with a number they can explain, stage by stage
  • Multi-threaded selling: champions by role, procurement, security review, executive sponsors
  • Communication and discovery that surfaces the customer's actual problem
  • Ownership in ambiguity: built pipeline without a playbook, or as a founding seller
  • Technical fluency to sell an AI product credibly: can explain what it does and does not do
  • Operates the system: CRM hygiene, forecast accuracy, a repeatable process

Across every profile: ownership in ambiguity; communication that survives a follow-up; ai-native practice; verifiable outcomes.

Good to have

  • A vertical: legal, healthcare, financial services
  • Outbound craft from an SDR background
  • Experience building a GTM motion or a sales team from scratch
  • Partnerships or channel experience
  • Regional or language coverage: EMEA, APAC, DACH, Italy appear as explicit needs
  • Selling to developers or technical buyers

Seniority

Open from recent graduates to 15 or more years. We read level from what you have owned, not from years or brand. What the evidence looks like at each stage:

New grad to 2 years. Usually enters through SDR. Judged on outbound craft, qualification, and a real story of a conversation they turned around. Route to SDR sub-profile.

2 to 5 years. Carried a quota, closed mid-market deals, has a lost deal they can explain in the customer's words.

5 to 10 years. Enterprise cycles, six and seven figure deals, walked away from a deal, built a territory.

10 to 15+ years. Strategic accounts or founding AE, sets the playbook, has built or led a team. Director-plus postings are 23 percent of the family.

What to bring

  • Two or three pieces of real work that fit the must-haves: how it came about, what was yours, what was reused, how you did it, what broke and how you fixed it.
  • How you work with AI agents. Where does AI sit in how you sell today, research, outreach, call prep, proposals, or somewhere else?
  • What you’re looking for, and your constraints, which stay private.
